What is the Ancient Greek Alphabet?
The Ancient Greek Alphabet differs in pronunciation from the Modern Greek Alphabet. This app specifically teaches the Ancient Greek Alphabet, which is used in fields such as mathematics, physics, astronomy, and other sciences. For example, the lowercase epsilon (ε) represents an arbitrarily small positive number, lowercase pi (π) represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, capital sigma (Σ) is used in summation, and lowercase sigma (σ) represents standard deviation.

What is Greek Alphabet Academy?
Greek Alphabet Academy is a developed tool designed to aid individuals interested in learning the Ancient Greek Alphabet, with a focus on mathematics and physics. The app enables users to quickly and easily memorize both uppercase and lowercase Greek letters and their corresponding English pronunciations. The two key teaching concepts implemented are progressive introduction and focused repetition. By breaking down the 24 letters into manageable units (levels), the app ensures efficient learning and training.

What are the modes?
There are a total of four modes for learning the Greek alphabet: Reading (Greek to English and English to Greek), Listening, and Speaking. Completing all four modes will result in a comprehensive mastery of the Greek alphabet.

What is the Reading mode?
In the Reading mode, you can learn the letters either from Greek to English or from English to Greek. At the beginning of each level, four letters are introduced one by one, and your goal is to remember them. After reviewing four learning cards, you will engage in a quiz game that trains and reinforces your knowledge. Along the way, you have the option to listen to the English pronunciation of the letters.

What are the Listening and Speaking modes?
The Listening mode focuses on training and testing your ability to recognize Greek letters through listening exercises. In contrast, the Speaking mode aims to enhance your ability to verbally articulate Greek letters.

Levels and challenges?
A level primarily focuses on introducing and training you with new letters, while a challenge evaluates what you have learned. During a level, a few new letters will be introduced for you to learn, including their Greek letter, English name, or pronunciation (depending on the mode). Subsequently, you will participate in a quiz game to reinforce your knowledge. Completing a challenge requires making no more than three mistakes.

What settings can I change?
Within Greek Alphabet Academy's Settings, you have the option to modify the font for both Greek letters and their English names, as well as customize button text. Additionally, you can enable/disable sounds for buttons and correct/wrong answers. There is also an option to enable button vibration and vibration feedback for errors.

What is the Explore page?
The Explore page allows users to browse through all the letters of the Greek alphabet, both uppercase and lowercase. By clicking on a letter, you can view its corresponding English name and listen to its pronunciation.
